Members of Luton Community Watch must never place themselves or others in danger. All volunteers have a duty of care to one another and to anyone who may be affected by their activities. This responsibility applies at all times when representing the organisation.

The organisation is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for volunteers and members of the public. Volunteers are expected to follow established health and safety procedures, use equipment responsibly, and report any hazards, near‑misses or incidents without delay in line with our incident reporting process.

Volunteers must take reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others, and follow instructions or guidance provided by supervisors or staff. Any concerns relating to unsafe behaviour, damaged equipment or potential risks should be raised immediately so that appropriate action can be taken.

Where health and safety expectations are not met, the organisation may take proportionate steps to protect individuals and maintain a safe working environment, in accordance with our health and safety procedures.
